I did not know Mrs Shields very well but I know she was one of the sweetest, kindest women I´ve ever known. My mom lived next door and Marinez would stop by every so often to see how she was doing after my father passed. What a lovely woman. I will miss her and grieve for her family.

To family of Marinez, we extend our deepest sympathy. We so enjoyed our friendship as our families grew up in the same neighborhood with kids of similar ages.. Marinez was one of the sweetest and most kindest lady that I knew. Then in the MSCC 9-Hole Ladies golf group we have fond memories playing with both Fred & Marinez in the couple's Social. Marinez was a supportive wife to my brother who loved her from the first time he saw her. And a sweet, caring sister-in-law to me. I will miss her phone calls.

Stephanie and family, as the days pass hopefully your hearts will be filled with happy memories. We´re very sorry for the loss of your Mom. Thinking of you.
