Marinus James "Jim" Beukema Jr.

Arlene, I just found out about Jim´s death in a South Chr. publication. Condolences to you. I am glad you had the time together that you did. It is such a sadness to see our contemporaries pass. Shirley Visser died last fall, and it is still hard to take in. I hope your friends and family are a comfort to you now.

I went thru South Christian with Jim. Many fond memories of our time together. We were like Mutt and Jeff.

I always enjoyed Jim's upbeat attitude when we both worked for Pine Rest Psychiatric Hospital. I worked in Security and he always referred to me as "Columbo." I think that was a compliment...RIP
