Dear Gianna and family, the world is an amazingly small place...I recently learned of Mario's passing while on vacation in Florida where I met one of your former neighbors in a store. We reminisced about Utica and amazed how we were both connected and yet living worlds apart (she in Florida and me in Virginia). Although Mario is gone, he will always be an important part of my memories and heritage...I'm sure he's playing a game of Briscola (sp?) with my dad (Remigio passed away in March...

I'm so very sorry to hear about the loss of your father...Many caring thoughts and prayers to you...Francesca, Matthew, Mario too, all of whom I remember from my years at Mt. Carmel school...also, your mother and all the family.
