I've known Mario since we were children growing up only a block apart. We went through the same experiences at George W. Johnson Elementary School, HBE Junior High, and UE High School. I saw him at almost every reunion of our high school class (UEHS 1950). I will miss him.
My sympathy to his many friends and surviving relatives.

Mario was so cute! He seemed to always know what was going on "on the block" (300 Squires & beyond!). If someone left a package on my porch he would be the first to know & inform me...he lived about 5 houses down!! =) The kids on the block had a great deal of respect for Mario & he cared for them & their safety as well - especially when it came to the rusty car!
