Not sure what to say?

I am just learning of Mario´s passing 5 years ago. My condolences to Mario´s family. I met Mario in 1976 when I was hired by Monsanto into the WG Krummrich Plant. We were part of Monsanto´s large hiring group of chemical engineers in the mid-70´s. Mario was well liked by everyone in our group. He was very smart, and also had a very engaging personality. I left Monsanto in 1979 to return to Michigan. I occasionally thought back on those fond memories of Mario and the others in our...

Good opportunity to remember a good friend , share our loss and for me to recall some challenging but happy times. High school was a happy time but could be challenging....so many of us trying to fit in, in whatever way we could and some how stand out with our classmates at the same time. Mario was very talented in a variety of ways and he seemed to be able to be himself and was content with his self assurance. I think Mario helped me understand myself a little. I am grateful for these...

Francis: Very sorry to hear about Marios passing. We were friends at Hammonassett Beach in CT when we were teens. Those were the good old days. Great times!

Only learned of this today through another WPI/Sigma Pi alum. Mario and I were also Glee Club alums, though my class left as his entered. Glee Club was where I began singing myself and I wish I had the opportunity to hear his voice. I did see him a few times at Sigma Pi homecomings/reunions over the years but I'm sorry to say we never talked music. Would have been a good conversation.

Belated condolences to his entire family.

I only learned about this through another friend, who had known Mario at Sacred Heart HS. I want to extend my deepest sympathy and prayers. Mario was my best friend at Hopeville grammar school in Waterbury. We continued our friendship in HS. I caught up with him again when I worked in Sacramento for a short time. Mario was a good friend, he was always logical and steadfast in his thoughts and interactions. His parents were very good to me growing up and I remember going camping with the...

My heartfelt condolences.

What a gift for me that I was able to walk along with Mario for a part of my life. He will always be in my heart. Andrea Trapet
