__Late in life, those of us who remain for a time, will reflect on those we remember, and by whom our own brief existence on earth has been enriched.
__And so, we are driven to seek them out; to KNOW how they lived -(for me personally, beyond the days when we marched together with the Marine Band in California, where I met Mario -a fellow clarinetist). I loved him. I played oboe at Carey Jr Hi early 1960s. He was very encouraging, kind, professional. Miss him always

Mario was a very special person in my life throughout the 1980s and early 1990s. We shared many wonderful times and I will always remember him as a loving and gentle man. My deepest condolences to his family. Rest in peace, Mario.
