I met mario in seventh grade. he became interested in weightlifting when i gave him a muscle magazine. He was a champion wrestler in high school. Allso a great shot putter in track and field.i attended many of his weightlifting meets. At the sports place in San Francisco.Mario made the Olympics in 1984.He come back with a silver medal.Mario was the strongest man in the USA. He allso made two more Olympics.
