Mackie not only served during the Vietnam war but he served in Vietnam.  We had some great times in West Point and he will be greatly missed.  So sorry for your loss.

I was deeply saddened to hear that Mac had passed. I caught Mac in the Little League Baseball Tournament when we were 12 years old. It always brought a proud smile to my face when in later years, and Mac having reached the highest achievements in the sport, whenever he saw me ,Mac referred to me as his catcher.
