Mario G. Ramirez, age 77, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at his home in San Antonio. He was born in Mexico City, Mexico and cherished the day that as a young man he became an American citizen. Mario G. Ramirez, age 77, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at his home in San Antonio. He was born in Mexico City, Mexico and cherished the day that as a young man he became an American citizen. Mario is survived by his children, Dr. David G. Ramirez and wife, Patricia, Daniel G. Ramirez, and Elizabeth G. Ramirez. Mario was a retired clothing designer and an avid artist whose paintings decorate many homes. He was loved and respected by his family and friends. Mario was a loving father who dedicated his life to his children. Throughout his life, he was a man of honesty, integrity, and compassion. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Esther Gaytan Ramirez, and his parents: Maria Luisa and Nepolito Ramirez of Mexico; his sisters: Guadalupe and Elvira; his brothers: Antonio and Fernando.
