Mario was a dear friend and a fine musician and a jazz lover, besides being an accomplished chef. I had the privilege of playing with Mario in Dyna-mite many many years ago. My heart is very heavy at his loss. My deepest sympathy to Kelly and Mario's family.

Mario was a fixture in our neighborhood and someone we were always happy to see. He shared his love of cooking with us, asking us for feedback on a cookie business he was working on. He often was smiling, though he was open about struggles. We regret that we didn't know Mario better and are greatly saddened by his loss. Our prayers are with your family.
