Marion Anderson

I was very sad to hear of Miss Marion's passing. She was one of the first people my husband and I met at the Madison church of Christ twelve years ago. Miss Marion was the kindest person as was her husband Gene. They always made us feel welcomed at Madison church. I will always remember the wonderful lady she was to everyone around her.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family for comfort. Mrs. Anderson was always such a nice lady who I'm grateful to have known for many years when we all attended the old Madison Church of Christ. I remember going to her house when she would have a fellowship (ice cream, etc) there on a Sunday night after church . I'm thankful I was able to see her a few years ago in Kroger . I was behind her in line and we talked for a little bit. I know you will miss her very much. Love to all of you...

Your mother will be remembered for her many kindnesses and good works in and for Madison. My childhood was enhanced by the smell of the daffodils she planted. I still remember being in elementary school and breaking the rules and walking home so I could stop and smell her flowers each spring. She never told on me even though she knew. I was always so grateful. I loved those flowers and have never been able to see or smell daffodils without thinking of her.
