Marion Frances Bush

Am sad to learn of Marion's passing. She would definitely come to mind when Haiti or Donnesk are in the news. Marion would come to the orphanage in Haiti several times. The children enjoyed her visits. Altagrace & I would kind of chuckle: Marion wouldn't start her day w/o putting her full makeup on. Lipstick too - touching it up though the day. Even if the temperature & humidity was sweltering, she always looked "put together".

Enjoyed knowing Marion when she spent time at her parents home in Akron, Mi. She was always known as a warm gentle soul-having a warm smile for all she met. We lived 2 houses to the north in Akron and enjoyed frequent interaction with our neighbor who shared tales of her travels to Texas, Russia and sites we dreamed of visiting.

Marion was the school nurse at Woodson Headstart when I met her. She soon retired and I followed her ministry adventures from then on. She was courageous and devoted to God. Her example has always inspired me. She is my hero.
