HARRIS, MARION J. Burton Age 86, died Monday, September 21, 2015 at McLaren-Flint. Funeral service will be held at 11am Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Robert L. Dickie officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation 1-8pm Thursday at the funeral home. Marion was born in Pontiac, MI on August 4, 1929, daughter of the late Byron and Vera Kinsman, and was a resident of the Burton area most of her life. She married Eldon (Moe) Harris on April 5, 1947 in Bancroft, MI and he preceded her in death on March 31, 2002. She was employed with Sears-Roebuck from 1945-47 and Fisher Body in 1953. She was a member of Amaranth Court #2 and OES #507 Grand Blanc Order of Eastern Star. She was Ester 3 times and American Flag Bearer 2 times. Surviving are son; Dennis and his wife Remedious; 8 grandchildren: very special granddaughter, Jacqueline Stratton; Irene; Bonnie; David; Ammie; Cathy; Dennis Jr; and Kim. Great-granddaughter, Mackenzie, as well as and several other great-grandchildren. Sisters-in-law, Barbara Kinsman and Betty Kinsman; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Donovan; brothers, Byron Kinsman, James Kinsman, and Charles Kinsman; sister, Frances Pear; sister-in-law, Mary Kinsman; and brother-in-law, Joe Pear.
