I met Marion in the early seventies when we were both social workers at the Department of Transitional Services, then known as the Department of Public Welfare. It was easy to make friends with Marion as she always had a ready smile on her face and was glad to help in any way she could. She truly had a great heart.
I remember, at the time, she also worked part time at a soft serve ice cream stand that served the yummiest chocolate ice cream I ever tasted. My wife and I would go out...
