Kermit & I had a lifetime of memories with Palmer and Marion!
In fact, Marion was the one who gave Kermit my address when I was in the Waves and he contacted me. That led to 53 years of marriage and 6 children! We shared many interests in church and family life. Later we had many bridge games together - very enjoyable!

So sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. From 1955 on, a path was worn from our back yard to your back door. I don't believe I ever knocked on your front door in all the years that followed. The path still exists in my memory. In reality the path now stops just short of your old back door as brother Doug bought the back lot that joined our properties. He still has campfires and eats the grapes and figs cultivated by your dad. I remember too, the whistle your mom...

Eric and Grethe and families, Reading about your mother today I learned so many things about her I never knew. Having been neighbors since little children I only knew about her Berg Ranch home in Montana. What a wonderful mother who showed a positive personality, had a wonderful education at St. Olaf and of course all her other talents of playing the organ and more. I visited with her in October and she told me she just wasn't ready to leave yet even though she was 98. I enjoyed my day...
