hi grandpa it's me again. i been thinking about you a lot lately. sometimes you come to me in my dreams just to tell me everything is gonna be ok. i miss u so much. i miss our family. since you've been gone we've hardly spoke to one another. i missed your sweet potatoes this year on thanksgiving. & im gonna miss seeing you cindy & the rest of the family for christmas. i know you're up there looking down on all of us. & i know God has you in his company. one day i'll see you again. love you...

Although I have not seen Doc in maybe 20 years, I've known him since birth. What a wonderful man. Always knew him to be kind with a smile on his face!
