MacKAY, Marion (Nicholson) Marion (Nicholson) MacKay, 86, Passed away quietly on Wedday (September 20, 2006) at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland and emigrated to the U.S. with her late husband Frederick MacKay in 1965. A Newington resident for the last 22 years, she loved to sing and was an enthusiastic member of the "Singing Seniors" group who performed at area nursing homes. She's survived by her loving sons Brian MacKay and his wife Susan of Rocky Hill; Kenneth MacKay and his wife Maria of Newington and Frederick MacKay and his wife Marlene of Toronto Canada; beloved grandson James MacKay and his fiancée Carla Armstrong of Portland. Also Grandchildren Ryan and Andrea MacKay of Toronto Canada, sister Celia Caryl and brother Charles Nicholson in Scotland and numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and United Kingdom. A celebration of life will be held Friday at 5p.m. at the Giuliano-Sagarino Funeral Home at BROOKLAWN, 511 Brook Street Rocky Hill.
