Your mom meant a-lot to me. She believed in me and guided me at an important time in my youth. I will always be grateful to her for this. Without question she was one of the most influential women in my life growing up. I have fond memories of her and our childhood. She had a big heart and her legacy will live on in you and those she touched.

To the McCarthy-Ward Family, Marion was a beautiful woman, inside and out; and I had the pleasure and honor of knowing her at the State House. She was a strong advocate for women and children and the disenfranchised. She was a conscientious worker, who did not take herself too seriously even though she knew everything there was to know about the legislative process. May she rest in peace and God bless you all. Dear Cathy and Sean - I was saddened to learn of your mother's death. I have so many wonderful childhood memories spent with you and your mom in your big beautiful house and many days spent at the beach. I especially remember your birthday sleepover, Cathy when we were all singing "Grease Lighting" and your mom standing in doorway doing her own "Grease Lighting" moves. May your memories help you deal with your loss.
