Her students at UTCHS would often give her standing ovations after her lectures!

I had the privilege of doing a rotation in my fellowship training under the tutelage of Dr Dugdale years ago. She was always very patient with me and quite approachable. I can honestly say that I learned from one of the best professors. She will be greatly missed. To borrow an ancient proverb, "If you think in terms of a year, plant a seed; if in terms of ten years, plant trees; if in terms of 100 years, teach the people".

There will never be another like her. She was my hemophilia doctor for many years and I honestly used her as my primary care and infectious disease doctor, too. She really wanted me to get doctors in my hometown to treat me for routine care but I kept making excuses for not doing so. I wanted her to be making all my medical decisions and it was worth the hour and a half drive to be seen by the best. I am still alive thanks in large part to her. There are not enough words to describe my love and admiration for Dr. Marion Dugdale. I was blessed to work with her in the hemophilia clinic for over 30 years. Her devotion to her patients and staff along with her sharp mind and wit were powerful testament to the gifted and amazing person that she was.
