Marion R.W. Meyer

I had the honor of getting to know Dean Meyer as one of the students on her student advisory council at the Syracuse University's School of Management in the early 1980s and kept in touch with her throughout the years. So sorry to hear of her passing. She was an accomplished educator, administrator and one of the most caring people you could ever meet. There are not many people in the world like Marion Meyer. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

A woman who not only loved her University children but also her real family, who she always kept in contact with near and far. She was a loving aunt who loved to share her stories of things she did, share her concerns for all of us over the years and always remind us of what was truly important in life even though there were many things she regretted not getting to do after Uncle Jack passed away. Her ambition in life along with her love will always be remembered. You will be truly missed.

This wonderful woman's hard work enabled me to graduate from SU. I will never forget her. God bless you Mrs. Meyer.

Had the pleasure of meeting Dr John and Marion Meyer when i moved to Syracuse in 1986..I provided eyeglasses for them and greatly enjoyed their visits to my office. They truly were "A lady and a gentleman." Sad to read of her loss.
