Marion Starr Miller of Aberdeen passed away at the age of 91 on Monday, April 17, 2017 peacefully with her family at her side. She was born in Lancaster, PA on May 7, 1925 and was the daughter of Roy C. and Emma M. Starr. Marion married "the boy next door" and was the loving, devoted wife of the late Charles K. Miller, Jr. She attended Grove Presbyterian Church and was a member for over 60 years where she taught Sunday School, was active in Women's Circle, was a member of Session as well as a Deacon. Having a passion for music, Marion taught piano lessons for over 40 years. She also served as a substitute Music teacher in public schools. She was a former member of the Rush Light Society and served as their corresponding secretary for several years. In her retirement, Marion enjoyed spending time getting out and about with her friends, traveling, going to theater events and was Co-Queen in her Red Hat Group. Marion is survived by her daughters, Susan Ladenheim and husband David, Cindi Miller, and Kathy Stephens and husband Steve; grandchildren, Kristen Liller, Shannon Sepulveda and husband Andy, and Stephanie Summers and husband Chuck. She is the proud great grandmother of two great grandchildren, Logan and Camden. Contributions in her memory may be made to Grove Presbyterian Church, 50 E.
