Not sure what to say?

Sissy with Pat & Jack Clabby

It is exactly two months to the date of your letting go of this world and walking into the next. Surely Mom & Dad, (Pat & Jack) were there to greet you along with other significant souls. I have finally read all the prayers, poems and memories listed here and laughed out loud to some of them. What a life you made for yourself and all who knew you. For me, dearest Aunt it will be the childhood memories of getting AA started and the absolute trust and freedom you gave us for doing adult chores...

Sis, you were truly one of a kind and you will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing you. Sincere condolences to the family.

My first "real" summer job was working for Sis at Acorn Acres and I returned for several years. She was one of a kind! Soar with the angels, my friend and tell Brett and Butch I said hi!

Dearest Miss Sis. I miss you with me. I miss us seeing turkeys...a whole family of them crossing the road. And we would see them together. I miss us talking about the "croakers" and loving that sound. I miss you making this the greatest place to live for me....but I know it was not for me....but for every one who had a reason to stay here, year round. I remember you on a snow mobile at midnight on the back road, and I was walking my puppies in the snow. What a surprise it was. You...

I'm gonna miss you acorn Acres will never be the same love the spash family

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I spend over 25 years camping at Acorn Acres in the circle on site 120. Our family went down the day after school got out to Labor Day weekend and through Halloween.

My family grew up there and us seasonal had the best times on the weekends hanging in the rec-hall, movies, dances and trying not to get into teenage trouble.

Sis was a wonderful teacher and friend.

Loved hearing you sing Patsy cline songs with Tina and Becky. My favorite song singing with you was always "mama he's crazy". You touched so many people with your kind, caring nature and have given us so many cherished memories that we will always treasure you in our hearts and souls.
