Marion Tameca Parris

Marion had beauty & light shining from the inside out! She was an incredible encourager of others. She recognized the importance of spiritual care and was an advocate for chaplains. She was an incredible part of my training to be a chaplain. It was an honor to work with her and a blessing to call her friend.

This is a belated offer of condolences, however I just found out that Dr Parris had passed. She was my sons Phsycologist for several years and had such a phenomenal impact on his life. He had great news that he wanted to share of his progress with her. It is with sorrow that we discovered of her accident online. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.

Praying for peace, strength and comfort for the Parris and Wallace families during this difficult time. May God wrap you all in His warm comforting embrace and keep you there. He will give you the strength that you need to carry on. Marion had a generous beautiful spirit and was loved by many. I am glad that I had the opportunity to reconnect with an old friend and attend her and Michael's wedding in February. May your soul rest in peace and know that your memory will live on by the lives...

Although you are walking through this valley, remember God is with you. Cherish her joy, smile and her amazing spirit. Rest Marion. Until we meet again, watch over all of us, knowing you were loved. You were such a beautiful person.

My prayers and thoughts are with Marion's family. This is a terrible loss for so many. Marion was my student at UAB and she will be very much missed.

I remember when the 3LW No more song first came out , you played that song everyday , all day & sang your little heart out. I would just watch you & would smile at how silly you were. That was my first time hearing that song & it then became one of my new faves. Marion was always the sweetest & so fun to be around.
