Not sure what to say?

Raymond and Lynn: Bruce and I were so saddened to learn of Mr. Rhode's death. I apologize that we did not know in time to attend his visitation or funeral. Please know that we are thinking of you and remembering you both in prayer.

Lynn and Raymond,
Mr. Marion was so fortunate to have such a devoted son and daughter-in-law. The residents and staff will miss seeing you on a daily basis at the Victory House. May God bless and keep you both. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of Mr. Rhode. My name is Herbert R. Sass, III, and I met Mr Rhode when I was in high school and he was the superintendant for Yeamans Development Company and building houses. My father was in charge of sales at Stevenson Zimmerman in the 60's and early 70's. He was Herbert R. Sass, Jr. I painted many of those homes in Sedgefield and Willowbrook in Goose Creek in the summer during summer break while I was at the Citadel.

I'd like to tell you...

Kathy, Libby and Marion,
I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. May you have the peace that passeth understanding during this time. Your family is in my prayers.

I knew Mr.Rhode he was a resident at the Veterans Victory House Nursing Home in Walterboro and I volunteered there and I would visit Mr Rhode everytime I was there and I would visit him before I left. He reminded me so much of my grandad I think that is one of there reasons I was so close to him. But he will always be one of my favorite people.

I only knew Mr. Rhode for a short period of time but I will never forgot him. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends who loved him very much.

You all have been in my thoughts since Friday when they came for him while I was still at the front desk. He was a wonderful man who we are all better for having known.
