Marion Rinaldi, 84, of Brick, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. She was born in Jersey City to Karl and Helen Fellhauer then moved to Brick in 1954.

Marion was retired as Senior Cook from the Brick Twp. School Systems. Marion was instrumental in the forming of the Junior Sports League, she enjoyed crocheting, reading novels, traveling, but most of all enjoyed and loved her family.

She is predeceased in death by her husband, Michael Rinaldi and her granddaughter, Sandra Bell. Marion is survived by three children, Kathy Rinaldi, Michael and his wife Shannon Rinaldi, and Philip and his wife Monica Rinaldi; one brother, Joseph and his wife Kathy of Arizona; a brother-in-law, Don Catogge; six grandchildren, Tara Berger and her husband Andrew, William Bell and his wife Maggie, Nicholas Rinaldi, Michael John Rinaldi, Joseph Rinaldi, and Morgan Rinaldi; four great grandchildren Nathaniel and Samuel Berger, and Leanne and Charles Bell; she is also survived by four nieces.

There will be a viewing from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, 2015 at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road, Brick. A mass of Christian burial will be offered 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17 at The Church of Visitation, Brick, followed by an entombment at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of Marion's favorite charities, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148, or a charity of your choice.
