Not sure what to say?

One of my best memories from my high school years was being a member of the band, Mrs. Roche instilled a real sense of pride in us, on the foootball or the stage for a concert. Thoughts and prayers to the family. Becky Bates Congdon, WUHS Class of 73

One hopes that Mrs. Roche is in place filled with wonderful music. She coached countless students into a world of music we would have never known without her. I thank her for opening my world to choral singing. She was a great woman.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Roche's passing. I was her student for 4 years at WUHS, graduating in 1979. She always demanded that we work hard and do our best, but she was also so much fun. We always knew how much she loved music, and she passed that love on to us. I remember marching practice out on the football field, wonderful exchange concerts in CT, and the zest with which she directed the pit band for the school musicals. Mrs Roche certainly inspired a lot of us throughout her years in the schools. She was a very important person during for me during those high school years.
Dale West,
Woodstock Class of '77

I have fond memories of Mrs Roche from my days in music at Woodstock Union HS. I was a majorette, banner carrier & flag corp captain under her direction, and our band was committed to being one of the best. My thoughts go out to her family.

My thoughts go out to Mrs. Roche's family. She was my band teacher at Woodstock Union High School. 30 years after leaving her band, I picked up my flute again a few years ago and began playing in a local town band alongside my daughter. I often think of Mrs. Roche, and all that she taught me, as I play in our summertime concerts.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I was one of her students. She was a very gifted and caring teacher.

I was very sorry to read about Mrs. Roche passing. I was one of her students at BFUHS and remember her contagious energy and love of music and her students. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Mrs. Roche was my band director at BFUHS The Fall of 1983 - 1986. After I graduated I had the honor to work along side of her for many years helping the marching band and instructing the Color Guard. she and I remained close to this day keeping in touch a couple times a year. She is the main reason I became a music teacher. She inspired me in so many ways. I have so many fond memories of her both in and out of school. It breaks my heart that she is gone. She was such a caring person. She...
