I had met Click about 20 years ago after Hugo came through Charleston. We were both taking care of what he called 'Little Cat'. I thought him to be a very special person among us all.
I called about three weeks ago and he told me he had only about three weeks to live. I called today and his phone was disconnected. I knew he was gone. Chick was a gentle soul among us. I thank his nephews for helping as much as they could in always difficult times.
