Not sure what to say?

I had the opportunity to meet Marion Snider several years before his passing. I went to his home and purchased a number of his recordings for my dad. We had a very pleasant visit, and he told me about his career in music. He was truly an ambassador and statesman in his profession.

I would like to know where I could purchase some of his tape recordings. I had several but lost during a move....specifically "Knock at the Door"

Growing up in Dallas, I was around and played gospel music for many years. We had a group called the Stamps Junior Quartet. I always sat in awe over Mr. Snider's playing and he was a true ambassador for Gospel Music

I have great memories of a man I respected very highly. I was named after Marion way back in 1937 and have tried to stay in touch as often as I could. It was a pleasure to sit on the bench with him while he played Give The World A Smile.

My earliest memories of Mr. Snider were from my childhood in De Leon TX on the 4th of July when he came to Hodges Park for a big gospel singing. Then after my husband , Bill and I moved to Dallas, we made his aquaintance when our son, Rodney started taking piano lessons from him for several years. Our friendship grew through the years. My husband and Rodney worked on his and other family members' cars through the years. We enjoyed visiting with him and his sweet wife usually during the...

We met your dad in 1996 when we were looking for a piano for our young son. What an amazing man! We sat and listened to him talk about his past. And very interesting it was. With his arthritic fingers, he played us the most beautiful music. We still have the piano, complete with Marion's framed photo displayed on the top. We are so sorry for your loss.

We are very sorry to hear about Mr Snider. We send our love and prayers to his family and friends.
