Not sure what to say?

Marion is frequently in my thoughts; we went through many ups and downs together--I think we both considered ourselves as "outsiders" in the Westfield of the '30s and '40s and so forged a close bond with each other. It is so wonderful for me to know what a meaningful life she built--mostly by her own efforts and skills and intellect. Her children must have many memories--they meant everything to her. I always remember her birthday, coming up soon, only about 11 days after mine...both...

My memories of Marion are many. I think of her with those long and lovely braids as we sat in Miss Lesniak's fourth grade at the College Training School; I remember her teen age years when she resided with the family of the minister of the First Cong. Church after the death of her mother; I recall her strong interest in 4H, where she honed her great skills in needlework, etc.; I picture her at the lovely bridal shower her sister Helen hostessed for her. Marion was not only a survivor of a...

Our condolences to Marion's family from the WHS class of 1949.

Paul & Amy Beth, so sorry for the loss of your mom. When I was young she was like a second mother to me. I will fondly remember the vacations in Maine with our families and all of the holidays we spent together.

We at EVP, surely only knew Marion when she was in our care for a short while of her life. You could tell she was a wise, independent woman who very much disliked having to have others help her. She would of liked it the other way around. Always sweet and respectful of others. When ever her children's name were mentioned, there would be a new sparkle in her eyes, you could just tell they were never far from her thoughts. It was our pleasure to assist her at this very vulnerable time in her...

Aunt Marion was always such a lovely person and my thoughts go out to Amy Beth and Paul. You were obviously the lights of her life as she sparkled whenever she spoke of you. So sorry for your loss.

I knew Marion, her parents, her sisters since we were both in kindergarten together at the Training School. I always think of her as one of my closest friends, though we were widely separated after high school. She will live in my memory as a strong woman, beautiful, gifted, and one who achieved great success in spite of many adversities. She was a warm and true friend and I feel a great loss at her passing. So glad we saw each other at our last class reunion! I send love to her son and...

Amy Beth -Paul My special room mate and long time friend will be sadly missed . Her contagious smile, terrific cooking specialties, sewing and quilting masterpieces , qualify her for one in a million. Your tender loving care for her these last difficult years made her so proud to call you her children . God Bless her in her new journey and you both for your love and devotion. Love you.
