Dear Marion, our tall blonde friend, always graced a room whenever she arrived. She was a magnificent lady and dressed impeccably! She was kind, sensitive and loving with a song in her heart. Whenever Marion's name was mentioned during the Christmas Season, everyone knew that her famous Christmas cookies would soon be doled out in a most delicious assortment. Our daughter, Jeannine, couldn't wait every year to help bake those cookies with "Aunt Marion," and it created...

Dearest Grandma Marion,
I miss you! You were such a wonderful grandma to us! Although we did not live very close to you for many years I still felt close to you in my heart and knew you cared about me very much. I was so happy when you moved to Orcas even though the circumstances were not ideal...I enjoyed being able to nurture you in the ways I felt you nurtured me when I was younger. I will NEVER forget your sweet smile and the gentle touch of your hand on my cheeks when I would...

For My Mom,
My mother was a beautiful woman through and through...but more importantly, she was truly a wonderful Mother to me and my brother Errol. She worked hard as a homemaker to make our home safe, secure, warm and cozy...a true sanctuary from the worries of the world. I fondly remember coming home from school on cold and rainy afternoons to find a warm house, swirling with the smell of fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies, hearing the gentle whoosh of the iron as she pressed my...

My mom liked her home clean and neat, everything in order yet she supported my love of the natural world. This support was shown, by her allowing me to have many unusual animals. Over my childhood years I had a raccoon, coatimundi ( looked ½ raccoon, ½...

Dear sweet Marion. I'm not sure how I came about calling you "trouble" but it always brought a smile to your face and I often was the recipient of a hug and kiss. You always brought a smile to my face and I loved making you laugh. I miss you. Things just aren't the same at St Anns without you. Rest in peace my dear friend and may God bless you and your dear family.

My dearest friend Marion, We've known each other since we were seven years old and we would squeeze through two garages to play together. Every memory I have of my childhood until now includes you. Love, Betty
