I remember Mrs. Stokes as a catalyst for Women’s rights. I was her son Michael’s companion, and she sold me her house many moons ago.
She encouraged me to go to Girls High, and to read everything! There were always stacks of newspapers, and books. She definitely was one who stood up for rights!!

I remember Mrs. Metelits. I was a companion for her son Michael. She also sold me her house! She was a trailblazer and she was an encourager, especially for education and many civil rights foci.
