I worked as an R.N. with Marion for about 12 years at SNHMC, before I left in 1999. As a social worker, your mother touched so many lives with her compassion and empathy. She treated everyone equally--the homeless, the chronic mentally ill, the addicted, the depressed and the grief-stricken. My deepest sympathy to all of you at this sad time. I will always remember your Mom as a kind and caring person, who was such a good girlfriend to my Mom. I always remembered her kindness and beautiful laugh. My Mom and Dad were so happy the last time she was able to stop by and visit when she was in Chicopee.
