Not sure what to say?

My condolences to Beth, Rodney and Claire Thompson. Mrs Sadie.... I did not know Mr. Marion that well, however I knew that he was a man of kindness and Christian Spirit, and a business man of integrity. He always had a smile and treated everyone equally as one should in life. He shall be remembered and missed by all who called him friend. Now his brother Buddy will have another fishing parter up there in God´s own waters, and they can rest under the shade of the trees. Sincerely, Rev...

Mr. Thompson was a kind and generous man. He will be missed at TTC events. My condolences to the family. I met him when I was attending TTC and I sat at his table during a scholarship luncheon, where I was a scholarship recipient. We spoke about Clemson, where my son was a student at the time. He truly didn't seem to meet a stranger. Rest in Peace, sir. Joyce Antonetty

Pal brought great joy to all of us during our family trips to Pawley's Island. He will be missed in the years to come and will be treasured in our hearts forever. Our warmest condolences to the Thompsons and the rest of his family. - Maggie, Sarah, and Grace Hansen, and Caroline Edmundson

Mr Thompson became a dear favorite some years ago. When he found out I liked boiled peanuts, I got added to his "route" which always included a special visit from him. I will always cherish those sweet times. He and Miss Sadie are examples of true servants of Christ and I'm much richer for having crossed paths with them. Rest in Peace sweet friend and rise in glory and God's peace and comfort to your family. Elizabeth Scott

Marion was one of the finest individuals I have ever known. He was always friendly to all who knew him. I know his family will miss him very much. Anne Bradsher 2/1/2025

I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Thompson through Trident Technical College & through my husband David. I´ve never seen anyone so kind. We used to see him every year at the Flowertown Festival, at football games & other sporting events, of course. He will be missed. Thoughts & prayers to Mrs. Thompson & the rest of the family.

I am saddened by the passing of Marion with whom I served on the Staff Parish Relations Committee, the Church Council, and attended Sunday School at Bethany, and in the Summerville Sertoma Club in the 80s before my work took me away from Summerville for 30 years. When he managed the T&T Sporting Goods store here, I spent many Saturday mornings buying merchandise from him for my three young boys and for the youth baseball teams I coached at Parks Field for 10 years. In the truest sense of...

Had the pleasure of meeting Marion when he began coming to Branchville for peanuts. Such a sweet man and he did love peanuts. We had also been blessed to have his sister Dottie Phelps and Husband Ken as our pastor many years ago. Sending love and prayers to your family
