I'm a current member of the Tri Sigma Omicron Chapter and I am very honored to be connected to such an incredible woman. I'm so very sorry for your loss and sending you all love. Her good deeds will live on forever!

I had the pleasure of spending quite a bit of time at the Vander Veen home in East Grand Rapids from 1969 to 1973, and a brief period in the summer of 1974 in Washington DC. Mrs. Vander Veen was always kind and gracious, soft spoken and generous. I will always remember her with great respect and affection.

A special person of quiet grace. She will be missed and remembered.
