I know this Marine is still very much missed by his family and friends. What a life he led, what a legacy he leaves.

Dear Aunt Rita, You and Uncle Marion are in my prayers. Uncle Marion was an inspiration for me, When times were difficult, I would remember my last name and his sacrifices, and it gave me the power to drive on.

I will always remember Marion as a gentle, humble man. This may not sound like an unusual characterization, but it must be understood in the context of how he spent his adult decades--as a career Marine who fought in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.
