Marisa was an outstanding person whom I met through my grandparents, Antoinette and Vito De Candia and parents, Vincent and Frances Goffredo. When Marisa and Romano first got married, they lived in my grandparents duplex at 3201 South Juniper Street in South Philadelphia. I was a child at that time and remember her cooking, her laughter, her fun and happy spirit. Marisa was our next-door neighbor in Philadelphia for many years. She was an extraordinary woman, with many talents and a sharp mind. Marisa was always willing to share her wisdom, and her friendship -along that with her extended family - was something we treasured. Her passing was sad news, but we are happy that she will be re-united with her loved ones and her legacy is a strong one.

I loved her smile. She always made me feel, like part of the family. I have some fond memories of you Marisa. May you Rest in Peace.

What wonderful memories filled with humor and wisdom that she shared at all times. She showed her love in many ways, yet I think in her favorite way was FOOD!! Always planing the next celebration dinner - Event and all that took was a hint to her that you would or might be around the next day and if it was Sunday... LOOK OUT.. how many courses???? Fun loving shared her blessings with everyone she cared for. Major important Aunt that has given me so much! AUNT MARISA IS WITH ME ALWAYS AND HER...
