Not sure what to say?

Carol, I am so sorry I have not been able to get in touch. I was sorry to hear from Dean about your mom. She was so special to me and the family. You know my mother always felt she was the other sister she had. She was so good to get the "ladies" together each summer to meet us for dinner when we came to Mobile. We had a long talk in December going over old times. I really enjoyed it. Raynard and I send our love to you all. Please get in touch when you have time. I have tried the house number...

Carol, I was sad to hear through e-mail from Kathy Mason (Wadlow) that your mother has passed away. As seldom as I was in Mobile I ran into her several times (at least twice I think at the Dew Drop Inn (?spelling? how could I forget). She was always as friendly and kind as I remembered her when we were crazy kids.

Please pass on our thoughts and prayers to all your family.

Love, Dee

I was so sorry to hear of Marjorie's death. My Grandmother was a first Cousin to Maude Adams and was very close to Lilliam McGowin. I talked with Majorie several times several years ago and she provided me with lots of family history. She was so very kind to me. I am so sorry for your loss.

Love to all. We miss Margie so much already.

The Brady family is so glad to have had Marjorie as our friend. We had the pleasure of being in Supper Club with Marjorie and LG, and they taught us a lot about Mobile and Dauphin Way UMC. When we think of Great Southern Ladies, we will always think of Marjorie. Please know that your family is in our prayers and thoughts.

Geneve (G-Bo),
It has been quite a while since our paths have crossed and I am not sure you remember me. However, I learned this morning that your mother had passed away. I suppose that many of my memories from Dauphin Way would include your mom. From being a Sunday School teacher, to acolyte mom, to seeing her in services or just around the church I always found her to be wonderful and fine lady.
Please know that you and your family are in my prayers. May God be your rock in this time...

Your family is in our prayers. My wife and I got to know Marjorie when I served as associate minister at Dauphin Way. She epitomized what it means to be a gracious Christian southern lady. She was one of our favorites, and I know she will be missed by many.
