Marjorie L. Biggerstaff Angermeier, 96, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at Signature Healthcare. She was born July 29, 1918 in Evansville, IN, to the late George W. and Edna (Schweitzer) Schmitt.
She was a member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary, and was an avid bridge player. She enjoyed ballroom dancing.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her first husband, James H. Biggerstaff, Sr.; second husband, Cletus Angermeier; brother, George Schmitt, Jr.; and sister, Madalyn Dunville.
She is survived by sons, Jim Biggerstaff (Sue) of Newburgh, Bruce Biggerstaff (Mary) of Evansville; daughter, Judy Moesner (Gary) of Rockport; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and 9 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 20, 2015, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel officiated by Rev. Adrienne Tanner with entombment at Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit 9:00 AM until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Hospice or Tri-State Food Bank.
