CHAMBERLAIN, M. Marjorie Armstrong Chamberlain, 81, died in Charleston, SC on May 20, 2005. The relatives and friends of Marjorie A. Chamberlain are invited to attend her Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at St. Phillip's Episcopal Church. Entombment will be at Trinity Cathedral, Columbia, S.C. Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 PM. Please make memorial contributions to either the Thornwell Home, P.O. Box 60, Clinton, S.C. 29325 or to a charity of one's choice. She was born on October 1, 1923, in Fountain Inn, SC and was the daughter of Charles Dial Armstrong and Esther Verdin Armstrong. She is survived by her children: Anne and her husband William Pearson Fowler; Faye and her husband, Daniel Clayton Goolsby and William Jaycocks Chamberlain all of Columbia and Olin Burnham Chamberlain, III of Charleston, her grandchildren: Stuart Todd Kagel, Jr. and his wife Alejandra; Daniel Clayton Goolsby, Jr. and his wife Shannon; Mary Hunter Chamberlain, Adrianne Burnham Chamberlain and Sallie Blackmer Chamberlain and her great grandchildren: Emma Chamberlain Kagel and Gabriela Burnham Kagel. She is also survived by her siblings, Mrs. Hugh Jacobs, Mrs. Roy Wood, Mrs. Harry Presher, Charles D. Armstrong, Jr. John V. Armstrong, Donald Armstrong, Rodney Armstrong and Wendell Armstrong.
