6 years ago we all lost a part of our lives with the passing of Midge. We have moved on with life: learned, laughed, loved. Midge still stands today as a shining example of humanity at its best, strong and humble at the same time. She will be forever my favorite aunt. RIP Midge.

I taught with Marge in the early days of special ed being included in the public school system. She was a mentor for us all and such a fine teacher. What was best for her students always came first. My sympathy goes out to you.

On behalf of our retired faculty in Special Education at Portland State University, I extend our sincere sympathy to the family. Although many of our early faculty are now deceased, I'm sure all would have agreed that Marjorie was one of our most competent students in special education during the founding years of our program (late 1960's through the 1970's). She was a model for other special education teachers, served as a supervising teacher for a number of our PSU student teachers, and...

I hope the days ahead bring you both solace and closure. You both helped me so much with my folks in their last months, I just want to say Thank You. Our time on this good Earth is finite, but the love and sharing your mom exuded will live on for generations. All my best to you both.
