Marjorie Anne "Peggy" Drew

Peggy was such a good friend to Peter and myself when we arrived in Canada from the UK in 1965. We lived next door to each other in South Vancouver. She initiated me into Canadian ways and I can honestly say I couldn't not have had a better friend and mentor. We have kept in touch every Christmas and I will miss her very much.

Dear Family:
Peggy and I have been friends since public school days - we have many happy memories as well as sad times that took place in both our lives. She was a wonderful person to know and her accomplishments made us feel very proud to have known her. Distance made it impossible to keep in touch in person but we never missed our birthdays nor did we miss Christmas and used those communications to keep up to date on what was going on in our lives!
