Read MoreI'm so sorry to her of Mrs. Egger's passing even though she had a king and full filling life. My husband and I were neighbors and friends of Cynthia at 143 Humboldt Street. I remember we attended a pool party at Marjorie and Jim's and she served small chunks of chilled watermelon poolside, which now I do because it was perfect! My condolences and well wishes to the Egger family.

Grammy was a one off. So many really funny stories about time spent with her and her Granddaughter in San Diego - sitting with her at a bar near the beach. Hair perfectly in place of course. Playing golf with her and Jim in Maui. They were competitive - but he was always happy when she beat him on any hole! Nice memories. Gone - but not from my heart.
