FISHER, Marjorie A. -Of Flint, age 75, died Friday, July 11, 2003 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 11AM Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Deacon Gary Gallagher officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Those desiring may make contributions to Community Home Health & Hospice. Visitation 2-4PM and 6-8PM Sunday and 5-8PM Monday at the funeral home. A rosary will be prayed at 7PM Monday evening at the Swartz Funeral Home. Marjorie was born in Flint, Michigan on February 27, 1928, the daughter of John and Gladys Wilcox and was a lifelong area resident. She was a former member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Marjorie retired from Ron Slivka Buick. Mom enjoyed her home in Gladwin before her illness, bird watching, car rides looking for deer and shopping, especially QVC. She was well- known by the UPS delivery people. She really enjoyed her grandchildren and gave us all much joy and laughs. She fought valiantly until the end. Surviving are 2 sons, Gary (Betty) Wilkinson and Timothy (Rita) Brown; 3 daughters, Sharon (Kenneth) Duckworth, Patricia (Michael) Mahalak and Pamela (Donald) Dowland; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marian, Beverly and Gloria; brothers, James and John; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, James F. Fisher, Jr., on December 11, 2001 and granddaughter, DiLynn Derengowski, on August 20,1992.
