Not sure what to say?

I got to know Marge when I became a member of an all women's investment club that she was in. I greatly admired Marge. She was intelligent, wise, caring, generous, and always striving to be better. She and her dog Bandit were quite a pair :-) Marge left the club as her health began to decline, but her influence and enthusiasm live on in our club to this day. Rest in peace, Marge. Well done

My family lived next to Marge and Betty on Sycamore Lane until I was about 6 years old. I have such good memories of wandering over to their house where they always welcomed me warmly and Marge always had time to chat animatedly while she worked out in the yard. Betty used to crochet us lovely holiday themed things --scarecrows in the fall and easter eggs in the spring. When my younger sister Gretchen was born in 1979 Marge and Betty watched my brother and I while my parents were at Bronson...

Marge was a great blessing in my life! We enjoyed many years of friendship,I shared her love of history, her stories of growing up in the Dakotas in the 30's,her ambitious pursuit of a higher education at a time when it wasn't the norm, her on going quest for knowledge as I would quiz her to make sure still knew all the state capitals, she did, we then started learning all the capitals of Africa, she loved a challenge and I loved her!!

I met Marjorie when I was just a kid at the Shannondale Mahogany Acres Swim Club. She took an interest in me and my best friend. She told us she wished she had learned to swim. To undertook the challenge to help her learn. She worked hard. We enjoyed our time together and I appreciated that she treated us kids as mature teachers. She made a very positive impression on the young me. I thank her for that!

Marge was like a mother to me like a sister to me and a best friend to me. She was always willing to help every single person out that she met in her life. I absolutely loved her and will miss her dearly. May she rest in peace
