Marjorie Kaufman

Marjorie followed me as Olympia Presbyterial President. I valued her opinions whether personal or on Presbyterial matters.

Although I saw her two or three times after she moved to Portland we did communicate via mail. I loved viewing her photos on my "prayer wall" especially the 2006 Christmas card showing Marjorie, Levi and Toby on her 90th birthday.

Dear Mary Anne and Levi, I just heard from Barbie and Diane that your mother died. Please accept my condolences. My most vivid memories of your mother are of visits to the lake when we visited Auntie Kay and Uncle Walter and the families together. Those were happy times. She had a good long life and from her Christmas letters it sounds like she was happy and content at Willamette View. Fondly, Betty Ann Dressler Meyer
