Lind, Marjorie (Hawkins)
Marjorie (Hawkins) Lind passed away on June 22, 2013, in San Diego, CA. She was born on March 8, 1928 in Vicksburg, MS to Fred and Eunice Templeton. Mrs. Lind is survived by her daughters, Betty O'Melia of Phoenix and Lynn (Caesar) Gallego of San Diego and her grandchildren, Stacey (Tom) Van Wie of San Diego, Marc (Toni) Angstead, San Diego, Katherine (Spencer) Taylor, San Diego, Patrick (Julie) O'Neill, Phoenix and Kiley (Daniel) Sifferman, Phoenix. Mrs. Lind also leaves many precious great grandchildren along with her two sisters, Rosemary (Leo) Steen and Vicky Middleton. Mrs. Lind was predeceased by her husband, Maury Lind, her parents, her sister and brother, Betty Miller and Richard Templeton and her son-in-law Michael O'Melia. Mrs. Lind came to Phoenix in 1961 and worked for the J.C.Penney Company for 30 plus years as credit and catalog manager, retiring when her husband became ill. A private service has been held. She was laid to rest next to her husband at Phoenix Memorial Park, Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Scripps Hospice, 13053 Poway Road, Suite A, Mail Stop HZ53, Poway, CA 92064. Although I don't believe I had met your mother, I know she must have been special to have had a daughter like you. I know it is always difficult to lose a parent. I pray that God will give you all that you need to get through these days and that you will come to know His love and comfort in a new and special way. Love you.
