Marjorie "Sue" Morris

Groton - Marjorie "Sue" (Gavitt) Morris, 82, wife of Thomas A. Morris Jr., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013.

She was the daughter of the late Abram P. and Bertha (Packer) Gavitt.

At her request, graveside services in the Starr Hill Cemetery in Groton will be private and there are to be no visiting hours.

Byles-Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames St., is assisting her family with the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, her family has asked that donations in her memory be directed to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (www.lbda.org), or the Ladies Missionary Fellowship at Groton Heights Baptist Church.
