Marge Swanzy was one of my dearest friends and closest companions during our teaching times at WMS. How I adored her gentle manner and kind way of working with our students. Mrs. Swanzy was my social studies teacher when I was at Washington Middle School in the early 1970s. She had a large, locked cabinet filled with books about Native American history and culture.
