What a beautiful "force" we have lost. Marj has been a friend literally my whole life... Our mothers met and became the best of friends for the rest of their lives while giving birth to us at Mercy Hospital! From my earliest days of playing with Marj to our recent good times when she would open her house to my husband and me when we came in to town for the North High School reunions, it was always fun, laughter and old friend love. My heart goes out to Rick, Marlene, Megan and their families...

I was sadden today to hear about Marj. We worked at the same time for the ESC. Marj was a beautiful person inside and out. I always enjoyed talking to her. May her memories be a comfort to you all at this difficult time.

I am so sorry your loss. I enjoyed knowing Marj.

The first time I met Marj, I knew she would be a friend. She was so open, authentic, playful, and present. The years that followed held special conversations about aging, adapting to changing dynamics/times and about being grandmas to those gifted, talented, funny and fun little Hartzlers. She was a gem of a human, and we will always treasure memories of Marj.

Marj was such a joy to know. She was my best friend when I lived in Ohio. Marj could make fun doing even the most boring job. The Vereen family made me feel like one of your family. I’m so sorry for your loss. Heaven has a beautiful angel to look over all of you.
