HODGESON, Marjory – Of Fenton, age 90, died Saturday, September 28, 2024 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 3pm Thursday, October 3, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Visitation 11am Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Marjory was born in Flint, Michigan on March 22, 1934, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eldred. On January 14, 1950 she married Howard Hodgeson. She had a very devoted marriage to Howard, with whom she traveled the world with. Marjory worked 32 years at AC Spark Plug and was also a volunteer at Adopt-A-Pet. She loved her pets, Pretty Lady and Patches. She loved to feed her deer. Marjory loved to craft, paint, garden, and go antiquing. She was a devoted mother and very devoted to her granddaughter and great-grandson.
Surviving are daughter, Sandra (Charles) Farmer;
Granddaughter, Tanya (Douglas) Sedlarik;
Great-grandson, Dominic Ragnone;
And several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Hodgeson and sisters, Shirley (Jim) Steele and Beverly Arvoy, and special friend, Roland Wykes.
